  
This is a 3/4 size Mid 1800's Cherry Rope Bed. Note the neat turned rail at the food board to hang a coverlet on a cold winter
night. This would make a wonderful youth bed. It measures 71" by 52" and the secondary wood would be poplar. It has been modified for today's mattresses because the
numbs have been cut off which once held the ropes. This bedroom piece would nice in an old country home or a new home
decorated primitive country.
