  
This yelloware bowl was made in Macomb IL by the Buckeye Pottery Co. The markings on the bottom are faint as the mold was probably getting worn. Macomb Il is located between the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers. Many potteries were located in between the rivers. Boat loads would travel the creeks that flowed to the rivers to find there way to St. Louis. The marketplace there was much larger. Measures 9" dia x 4" high.
